Saturday’s Spotlight “Yung Nate”
Saturday’s Spotlight is back for another highlight reel. This time around we feature a friend and very talented artist. It all started in Harlem for this 20 year old artist. Yung Nate was first seen on the scene with Charles Hamilton. On songs such as…
Stutter
Butcherman
LadyBug
One More Time
Live Life To The Fullest
Yung Nate has also been heard on tracks with his crew, Demevolist Group. In late 2008 the group dropped a project called “Ayo! These Niggaz Went Hollywood.”
Ayo! These Niggaz Went Hollywood
In the first quarter of 2009, Yung Nate was heard on more music with his group. They dropped “First Order Of Business in a 2 disc set.
First Order of Business Side A: Plan (Disc 1 of 2)
First Order of Business Side B: Execute (Disc 2 of 2)
After that dropped we started seeing less & less work from the group drop, but Yung Nate’s hustle did not stop there. B/A & Yung Nate started working on their collaboration album “Deal With No Deal.” Which dropped on July 9th.
Following the drop of their album, Deal With No Deal website launched. Yung Nate was seen with JY on CDR radio participating in an interview.
No it doesn’t stop there…Yung Nate started releasing tracks (The Runaway & The Glow) off of his debut solo project, “2000N8″. A month later Yung Nate was featured on REUPSPOT‘s mixtape, The Bailout.
What next?
On September 15th the Deal With No Deal teamed up for their official launch party that featured artist performances by some of hip hop’s most prominent digital warriors including Donny Goines, Esso, JY, iLLz, Yung Nate, Mr.Crisis, International H, Xclusive, and FCF.
Through their industry updates, music exclusives, artist interviews and video documentary series, Deal With No Deal brings to light the struggle of the unsigned artist, and provides them with a platform to showcase their talent, collaborate with their peers and build an interactive relationship with a loyal yet discerning fan base. Deal With No Deal represents the interests of both artists and fans. And with the introduction of an online radio station later this year, the net will be cast even wider. Deal With No Deal does not promise to secure that elusive major label advance. The mission is to help you tell your story, craft a career, find that perfect sound, and reach out the individuals that made you want to start making music in the first place.
Yung Nate – 2000N8: The Recap coming very soon. Yung Nate is currently working on new music, and on his grind to get his foot through the door in the industry. Expect nothing less than greatness from Yung Nate, but also remember that any success this man has came from hardwork, dedication, and commitment.
