These visuals give you a glimpse into the daily lives of the two Bronx emcees Frank Ramz (who you’re hopefully familiar with, since he posts at P&P) and Shortman Score. From a child and a lady to a blunt and a bottle of liquor the video paints a cinematic picture of the realities of Ramz and Score. The video was directed by Motion Picture. This is what I was thinking as I read background info on the Brooklyn-born, Vermont-based promoter-turned-emcee, BURNTmd, who just released his debut EP (April 20)-Let’s Get Ill- on his new label, GTD Entertainment.
Truth in rap…not necessarily a new concept, but it seems to have been distorted in years past. Thankfully, artists like Young Jerz are getting back to the intended mission of hip hop.
