NFL Week 2 Predictions

I see a lot of blogs doing them now-a-days, since I absolutely live NFL and sports in general I am adding my thoughts. Likely, that I go a little more in-depth or at least explain my selections.

Vikings at Detriot.. Im Taking the Lions, why? Because it’s my team and I won’t go against them. There is some logic to it though.. I believe Adrian will have 200 yards but I can also see Favre throwing 3 or 4 picks. I’ll hope for the best

Giants at Dallas.. It is a simple choice to me, I am not at all convinced that Dallas has a high-powered offense. They played the Buc’s who are not nearly as strong on defense as they have been. Also, their defense is not going to contain Brandon Jacobs and Bradshaw.. they are a powerfully quick duo.

Ravens at San Diego.. I felt like the Raiders should have won last Monday but week one can confuse you. The Ravens are good and i believe Joe Flacco will develop even more this year but I’m looking at Merriman and the Charger’s defense to bounce back here.. I’m not sleeping on the Ranven’s defense, I’m very aware of it but I think Ravens fall a couple points short.

Saints at Philadelphia.. You haven’t learned anything about the Saints, they put up 45 against Detroit but they gave up 27 points as well and Detroit turned the ball over 3 or 4 times. Trust in God, you will not see anyone on the Saints defense stop the Phili “O.”

Panthers at Atlanta.. Simple explanation? Matt Ryan! Yes, he will go off.

Patriots at New York.. The J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, BLAH! They beat the Texans.. don’t become overwhelmed. Buffalo has a lot of strong positional players so I wasn’t shocked to see them run with the Pat’s. Tom Brady will only get closer to his old self.. did you see those tosses to Ben Watson.

Bengals at Green Bay.. Here’s my upset pick.. WHY? I’m not even sure something just says hate the Packers, believe they will lose.. Odds are Aaron Rodgers gets good run support and shreds the secondary, but I will watch for the Bengals to win.. and for Ochocinco to Lambeau Leap.

Cardinals at Jacksonville.. They bounce back with Larry Fitz and Anquan Boldin. Kurt Warner exposes the Jax weak corners to have some downfield success.

Raiders at Kansas City.. Vick would be pissed if i picked the Chiefs to win, but honestly without a stable QB or a down field threat KC won’t win any in conference match-ups.. what happened to Dwayne Bowe, fell off?

Texans at Tennessee.. Could go both ways.. I think both teams have some great play-makers.. but neither has a young confident QB. Look for Chris Johnson and Lendale White to win this game for the former Oilers.. I love the irony of this match-up every time.

Rams at Washington.. I live in St. Louis and when you go to the barbershop where there is Cardinals and Rams shit everywhere, and they are saying Redskins are going to kill us.. that means there’s no denying it.

Buccaneers at Buffalo.. I honestly believe that the Buccaneers are the worst team in the league this year. Their running game is their strength but i can’t see them out-matching the Bills.

Seahawks at San Francisco.. The Niners have looked good, I believe they have every piece to win.

Steelers at Chicago.. Jay Cutler has an amazing arm, he just chooses to throw interceptions.. and against Pittsburgh.. you might as well stay home.

Browns at Denver.. Denver is a mess.. Marshall has to Own if they win.

Colts at Miami.. I think the Colts could lose but Peyton to Wayne looks good so far.
