CHICAGO! I can’t help myself. New mixtape from the Chicago-to-L.A. transplant BJ The Chicago Kid. This dude has been killing since he first made a major push on the scene through Kanye West’s Impossible record. Now he’s a few years in, aligned with some Hollywood types, and making some dope music. He reminds me of a mesh of Marvin Gaye & Bilal.
